[edit]Since a link was created with Chuck Swindoll, I decided to start an article on him. He is a fairly well known evangelical preacher. I am neither fan nor foe of Swindoll, but found it a little hard to write an article that doesn't sound like a promo, with available information that I found. Perhaps over time, this will be cured. Also, the article needs the MAIDEN NAME of his wife, which I have been unable so far to find. - Rlvaughn 00:56, 4 Jan 2004 (UTC)
I added a little material that will perhaps take some of the "promo edge" off the article, which I think will fairly represent both Swindoll and his detractors. - Rlvaughn 03:20, 4 Jan 2004 (UTC)
Added Internal Links
[edit]I have added Internal Links to this article. Kathleen.wright5 15:44, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
Expansion of publications section
[edit]I have reorganized this section by date, and have included sources to several books which were recipients of the Gold Medallion Book Award. However, his bio indicates he has won 12 of these awards. If someone could find the documentation for the others, as well as add ISBNs it would make this list more complete. Ἀλήθεια (talk) 16:46, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
- Never mind, I found the other awards. However, the rest of ISBNs would be a nice addition. Ἀλήθεια (talk) 18:20, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
Expansion of the Early Life Section
[edit]Added more detailed information to the Early Life Section. Didaskolos (talk) 23:35, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
